We stayed at the Zafiro Can picanfort for 7 days mid way through May half term and really enjoyed our stay. We have a 5 and 3 year old and it was perfect for them. We’d definitely consider returning, there are just a couple of things it would be great they could improve. In 2024 we stayed at the Zafiro Menorca and had a lovely stay but wanted a bigger resort so decided to book Mallorca Can Picanfort instead and we’re really pleased we did. It’s about an hour from the airport by taxi and 15-20 walk to the beach. Everything operates off a NFC wrist band which makes it really easy to order anything and get into your room. Resort grounds - beautiful well maintained grounds with multiple olive trees and flowers. A real credit to the staff that maintain them. There are multiple pools, playground, bouncy castle, gym, crazy golf, table tennis, Astro tuff football pitch, arcade style games and supermarket. Food - we were on an all inclusive package. We booked via BA holidays so were entitled to 3 alacarte meals too, I think the standard is one. Book the alacarte as soon as you arrive as we could only get 2 bookings as it is very popular. Buffet restaurant - you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner here. We only had breakfast and dinner here, as would have got bored with buffet style food 3 times a day. Our favourite night was Saturday as it was Spanish night so lots of seafood. It’s very geared up for kids with plastic plates and cutlery. The decor in the restaurant was nice with lots of greenery but we preferred to sit outside. We felt the set up of the Zafiro Menorca was better than Can Picanfort. As here it was one long line of food so people don’t know if they have to queue up or just nip in for the bits they want. Also at busy times there isn’t much room with people going backwards and forward. This was one area where at times there didn’t seem like enough staff. Cereal and pancakes totally running out so you felt like you had to often go bk and forth. Opens 7:30am for breakfast and 6pm for dinner. Lunch restaurant - this is alacarte and outside on the terrace overlooking the pool. We had every lunch here and enjoyed the choice of the many different dishes. It can get very busy so would recommend ordering food at the same time as drinks so you aren’t trying to get someone’s attention again. For dessert there are a couple of alacarte options plus ice cream from the freezer and self serve soft scoop. They take food orders till 4pm so ideal if your flight arrives later in the day. Italian restaurant (alacarte night time) - this is located upstairs above the buffet. We were greeted with welcome drinks and focaccia. The service was attentive and friendly, with no rush for us to get our table back. We were really impressed with the food, the black ink risotto being our favourite. There wasn’t any dessert our children wanted so we were able to grab some ice cream from the buffet and bring it upstairs. We enjoyed the tiramisu and the macaroon. Would r
