Die Lodge ist toll gelegen mit Blick auf die Drake Bay und auf den Dschungel in einem herrlichen tropischen Garten. Ohne sich weg zu bewegen kann man Affen, Tukane, Aras und viele andere Vögel beobachten. Von der Hängematte aus über den Pazifik zu schauen ist ein Traum. Alle sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Abendessen super lecker. Der Strand ist sehr schön, beim Baden sollte man aber unbedingt auf die Strömung achten. Der Weg, der am Meer entlang in beide Richtungen führt, lohnt sich zu erkunden und man erreicht hübsche Badebuchten. Es fiel uns schwer, hier weg zu gehen. Vielen Dank! Norbert und Sabine

We spent 2 nights at Las Caletas and Mayra took care of everything. She booked our taxi and boat ride to lodge… worked with our tour company to pick us up in their boat for Corcovado and booked our taxi back to airport from Drake Bay. The lodge grounds are gorgeous and the food was great! We saw a Toucan in their local trees along with some sloths nearby. It’s walking distance to great local beaches too. Everything was clean and orderly and I loved how beer, wine, and drinks were available. Cookies were there for us daily too. I’d definitely go back. Thank you Mayra for the wonderful service and attention to details… You made our trip unforgettable!

This was a fantastic place to stay! Lovely view, delicious food and comfortable accommodations. Mayra, the hostess/ planner/ advisor/ woman in charge … was personable, kind and very helpful with all of our questions. This was truly a gem in the rainforest.

die Lodge muss man einfach besucht haben. Top Lage - versteckt und doch sehr nahe am Strand und am Wanderweg - und zudem optimal gelegen für die verschiedenen Ausflüge. Jeden Abend wird man durch ein fantastische Nachtessen verwöhnt und am Ende freut man sich bereits auf den nächsten Abend. Getopt wir das Ganze nur noch durch die gute Seele des Ortes - Mayra. Sie ist von 05.00 - 21.00 Uhr für die Gäste da, trägt immer ein Lächeln auf dem Gesicht. Zudem hilft sie bei der Organisation von Ausflügen und gibt Tipps, was man machen könnte. wir können den Ort vorbehaltlos empfehlen - wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt - ein herzliches Danke

We had a really wonderful stay here, it is very much in touch with nature which is unparalleled with any accommodation I have been in before. Staff work hard are courteous and the property is clean. It is a rustic stay, there is no air con, because of humidity clothes don’t particularly dry and stay damp. I would return because of the nature, price and pleasant environment, but I would want a room with a bathroom I didn’t have to walk to. I guess my only thought is around making it either adult only or not having big groups, with only 20 people staying and one communal eating/drinking area, big groups unwittingly take over which destabilises the ambiance sometimes. Thank you to the staff and for making an extra effort for my birthday celebrations, it was very much appreciated.

Accessible uniquement en bateau cette petite structure hôtelière propose sept bungalows et quelques tentes. Les bungalows sont parfaits avec une belle vue sur la baie. Il y a une petite plage juste au pied de l’hôtel, et d’autres, plus grandes, qu’en on remonte le sentier côtier. L’accueil est parfait, lui aussi, et l’on mange très bien. Très bel endroit pour passer trois jours en profitant des visites à Islas Caño et au Corcovado. Endroit recommandé.

Las Caletas was probably the best place we have *ever* stayed. Daniel, the host, was an absolute gem. Our family didn't want to leave and we will certainly be going back. The area is quiet and has lots of great walks in the area. We snorkled and did a guided tour through the rain forest.

Une de nos plus belles expériences et la plus formidable au Costa Rica 🇨🇷 C’était juste incroyable. Un séjour de rêve dans un univers de nature, entourés d’animaux. Personnel agréable et souriant aux petits soins pour nous. Repas excellents. Le dîner du nouvel an était formidable mais si nous nous sommes couchés très tôt 😉 Pour ceux qui aiment la nature et veulent vivre des expériences uniques c’est le bon endroit.
