LyLo Auckland, an EVT Hotel

This is my second stay. It's very comfortable.

It was very clean and comfortable. The private room was larger than I expected and I would like to use it again. The shower room and toilet were always clean.

Self-service check-in, there will be staff on site to help The environment is pretty good, but since there are many shared spaces, guests are still required to keep it clean. However, it will be cleaned regularly. You can borrow a hair dryer for free.

I liked that the pod-type beds allowed us to have complete privacy. There were many private toilets and shower rooms on the first floor, but most of the male guests didn't sit in the toilets, so they were splashed around and dirty every hour. Still, the staff cleaned carefully and kept the place tidy, so their working attitude was great. The kitchen was an induction type with four units per unit, for a total of four. However, there were only three sinks, and one of them was clogged every day, so everyone had to share the remaining two.

The building itself is new and has a lot of rooms. There isn't much space to sit and work on your laptop or rest. There's always space in the kitchen except during peak times. The kitchen isn't cleaned often, so it's messy. The dishes and pans are old. The rooms are in pods. Most of the time, you're in your own pod with the door closed, so it's quiet. But it's really hot. There's a small fan-like fan, but it's covered in dust. They only change the bed sheets when they clean. I've never seen the floor cleaned in the 10 days I've been here. There's dust and other things piled up between the mattresses. There's not enough storage space, so I just put it under my feet and live. The shower room is surprisingly clean, but I can't use it sometimes when they're cleaning. When I move around on the upper floor, the first floor makes a lot of noise, so I wake up in the middle of the night.
